The paper is not intended to revolutionize the well-established techniques based on power relationship but it is mainly a guide to the tuning operations, as these are not too evident due to the strong coupling existing between anode and cathode circuits, and due to the tube secondary effects which, at 30 Mc frequency, just begin to become appreci¬able. The paper is divided into two parts:an introduction, where the preliminary operations to be performed at reduced load are indicated;and the subject proper, where the various current and voltage waveforms, which appear at the various points of the cathode network when a well-tuned system is being wobbulated, are shown.
