摘要

In the study described in this paper, which is only a first phase, we have endeavourednmainly to maintain an adequate precision of measurements in the range of high Reynoldsnnumbers. For this purpose, an arrangement was constructed making it possible to achieven2 high thermal flux densities (300 w/cm ). In addition, we have endeavoured to develop anmethod for measuring absolute surface temperatures.nThe results obtained are in good agreement with those of other authors who have explored a similar domain, but are nevertheless fraught with some uncertainties due to the particular construction features of our apparatus, which preclude us from stating that the thermal boundary conditions (constant flux density at the wall) were achieved perfectly.
