摘要

The development of a sensitive and versatile spectrogruphic method for the analysis of a wide range of small samples (1.5 mg) is described.nThe sample is mixed with a buffer consisting of a mixture of lithium fluoride and graphite and burnt in a d.c. arc with anode excitation. Cobalt is used as an internal standard.nSensitivities corresponding to a sample weight of 1.5 mg vary according to impurity element from 1 - 100 ppm. Coefficients of variation for single exposures at the 100 ppm level of between 5 and 10% have been obtained for many elements.
