To easily simulate reliable, accurate time delay, with a minimum amount of effort and cost, a new type of time delay unit was needed. To facilitate the design of this unit, system analysis techniques were applied throughout the design process.nThe orderly plan of systems analysis was carried forward throughout the described study. The Introduction (I) was concerned with the identification phase and the definition of specifications and criteria, as well as providing a background study.
