Points of similarity and differences between various studies in this area are indicated in an effort to form a coherent picture of the accomplishments and future analytical and experimental needs.nThus a definite need exists for development of accurate methods for predicting temperature fields in rod arrays of different configurations and sizes and at various Reynolds numbers (Laminar to very high values of Re) and power skews across and along the bundle.
