摘要

The potential biological productivity of an open-sea mariculture system utilizing the deep-sea water discharged from an ocean-thermal energy conversion (OTEC) plant was investigated.nA brief analysis of the fate of deep water discharged from open-ocean OTEC plants indicated that containment of the discharge will be necessary if mariculture is to be a feasible by-product of such plants.
