PV-TAP (Photovoltaic Transient Analysis Program) is a nonlinear, computer-aided circuit analysis program designed for the analysis of electrical and thermal transients in large photovoltaic array systems. It is an expanded version of the NET-2 code (a general network analysis code developed by BDM for the Federal Government) including all the capabilities of Release 9.1 of NET-2 with additional models and mathe¬matical -functions appropriate to photovoltaic systems. The program has time and frequency doamin, Monte Carlo, and optimization solution capa¬bilities.
