摘要

A study of slagged ash disposal systems for entrained flow coal gasifiers was conducted. The study evaluated the physical and chemical properties of coal ash which are important in the design of slagged ash disposal systems, evaluated past and current experience with slagged ash removal systems and utilized applicable information in the design of the ash disposal system for Combustion Engineering, Inc's process development unit gasifier.
