In the fall of 1978, an airborne reconnaissance radiometric and magnetic survey was flown by geoMetrics in western Colorado and eastern Utah as part of the Department of Energy's National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) program. A total of 13,390 line miles were flown In the four 1° x 2° topographic maps - Sallna, Moab, Montrose and Leadvllle - encompassed by the survey area.nAll radiometric and magnetic data were fully reduced and Interpreted by geoMetrics and are presented in this report In five volumes - one Volume I and four Volume II's.nThe survey area includes portions of the Colorado Plateau and South¬ern Rocky Mountains Physiographic Provinces. A series of uplift and basin structures are distributed throughout both provinces.
