Nucleotide Sequence Analysis of Regions of Adenovirus 5 DNA Containing the Origins of DNA Replication

The purpose of the investigations described is the determination of nucleotide sequences at the molecular ends of the linear adenovirus type 5 DNA. Knowledge of the primary structure at the termini of this DNA molecule is of particular interest in the study of the mechanism of replication of adenovirus DNA. The initiation- and termination sites of adenovirus DNA replication are located at the ends of the DNA molecule. (Atomindex citation 10:476662)
