摘要

Space heating applications account for a significant portion of the national demand on energy supplies. The performance of several solar energy space heating systems in the National Solar Heating and Cooling Demonstration Program is summarized. The solar energy utilization is depicted graphically, along with the identification of system losses. In addition, problems which appear to have the most severe impact on system performance are described. All space heating systems being monitored, and the characteristics of each are tabulated.
