Overview of Research in Radiation Biology and Protective Measures in the Manhattan Project During the War Years, 1942-1946

The objecitve was to present a cohesive view of the general biological research program associated with the Manhattan Project. The material is arrangd in chronological order. Each of the major research sites is identified and the general nature of their research program indicated. A section is devoted to the question of the various radiation limits which were used in the operational approach to hazard controls. (ERA citation 07:055217)
