Semi-Analytic F.E. Model for Inertial Interaction Analysis

A semi-analytic finite element model for the seismic inertial interaction analysis of structures with pile foundation is presented here. The properties of the elements are established through the elastic Mindlin's formula. The results of the analysis of a typical vent stack of a nuclear power plant, for the simplified Veletsos' accelerogram, is also shown. (Atomindex citation 16:060335)
