摘要

A double-shell cryogenic target has been suggested as a possible design for commercial Inertial Fusion (IF) reactors. Fabrication techniques have been developed to the point where these targets are available for experimental evaluation.nHeat transfer from the fuel container to the outer shell is provided by a low-pressure exchange gas between the two shells. The pressure and mass of gas can be controlled by both temperature and the selection of the exchange gas.
