Instrument to Detect Vapor-Nucleation in Superheated Liquid (Use for Neutron Detection)

An instrument to detect the vaporization of superheated drops is described. Using this instrument, quantitative tests have been performed of the response of the superheated drop neutron detector, a tool for possible use in neutron dosimetry, area monitoring, and nuclear spectroscopy.
