This paper presents partial results concerning flow induced vibration in a square pitch bundle subjected successively to air-water and steam-water two phase flow with equivalent density ranging from 4 to 100 Kg m exp -3 and then to steam-water flow with density from 40 to 440 Kg m exp -3 . The most prominent vibration excitation mechanism observed was fluidelastic instability. Air-water and steam-water critical flow velocity are nicely fitting to the same classical Connor's relation-ship with an instability factor of about 7. (ERA citation 11:009496)
