摘要

The programme RITSSCHIL is a FORTRAN 77 computer code for large spectroscopic calculations in the microscopic nuclear shell model. It is suitable for all tensorial shell-model operators, such as hamiltonians and operators for electromagnetic transitions, (many-)particle transfer, beta decay, etc. Starting from matrix elements of standard operators in single shells RITSSCHIL calulates the matrix elements of the physical operators in a multishell basis. RITSSCHIL can treat a large variety of operators (e.g. for many-particle transfer) and it is very flexible, fast and uses little space. The essential features of the theory behind the formalism of programme RITSSCHIL are the use of second quantization and the representation of all states and operators in terms of irreducible spherical tensors. The approach is applied to heavy nuclei with 126 neutrons. Moreover it is applied in a rather unconventional way to very light nuclei. (Atomindex citation 16:023352)
