Spectroscopic Ellipsometry of Rhodamine-B Adsorbed on Platinum, Silver and Copper.

On Ag(111), the measurements indicate that the surface saturates with Rhodamine-B at a concentration of about 1.2 micromolar. Coverages close to 50% close packing were found with primarily normal orientation for Ag and mixed orientations for Pt and Cu. Two peaks are caused by the adsorbed dye on polycrystalline Pt, and interpretations are offered. (ERA citation 09:038035)
