A device is described for preventing intrusion of blade tip of the lathe which cuts chips automatically by vibrational cutting or by intermittent cutting, where said device is characterized by applying pressure to the blade in the lifting direction and lifting the blade temporarily by a certain magnitude at the moment when there is zero feed.
