Nonradial Pulsations of delta Scuti Stars

摘要

An improved stellar model with a detailed composition structure is used to look at the nonradial behavior of a star near the region in the H-R diagram where the delta Scuti variables are found. Satisfactory solutions are obtained to the linear nonadiabatic equations. The newly calculated evolution models will be used in the future to study the pulsational stability of this class of stars. 4 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab. (ERA citation 12:014528)
