The Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) with funding from federal and state sources is involved in a broad study examining the many economic and social issues of deteriorating neighborhoods. This study is only a portion of the major study, conducted by CNT, which will specifically focus on the adaptability of manufactured housing for the City of Chicago. Specifically this report focuses on: building codes regulating the construction of manufactured housing; manufactured housing construction process; current energy efficiency of manufactured housing; and Illinois manufacturers.
