Allochthonous Detritus Input to a Small, Cold Desert Spring-Stream

The amount of allochthonous detritus deposited or transported into Snively Springs, a small, cold desert spring-stream system in south-central Washington, was measured. The importance of this energy source to the ecosystem is discussed. (ERA citation 12:023507)
