Predictors of patient satisfaction for Brooke Army Medical Center Family Medicine Service primary care clinics was performed. Data was obtained from the Army Provider Level Patient Satisfaction Survey from May 2003- September 2007. An ordinal regression model was developed to determine the effect patient demographics, facility characteristics, and patient-provider interaction on patient satisfaction. Mean patient satisfaction was 4.635 (1- completely dissatisfied, 5-completely satisfied). Two key significant variables emerged in this study; whether the patient saw their primary care provider, F(1, 13,863) = 102.953,p.
