Some Problems in Social Sciences in the Light of Decisions of the 21st Congress of the CPSU - USSR.

The profound theoretical and practical significance of the decisions of the 21st Congress of the CPSU consist in the fact that they provided a clear definition of the main trend in the USSR's development toward communism and elucidated the essence, nature and tasks of the new period in the development of the USSR -- the period of the expanded building of a communist society. The elaboration of the problems of the transition to communism is an important contribution made by the congress to the depository of Marxism-Leninism. M.S. Krushchev's report to the congress explained the concept of the gradual transition to communism and showed the objective laws governing the inauguration of the new period in the USSR's communist building.
