It is well known from the literature that the reactivity of the organism is changed when ionizing radiation acts on it. The majority of works which have been conducted in this direction have been devoted to the study of reactivity in the presence of X-ray irradiation. In the earlier investigations, where on the whole small dosages were used, a stimulating action of radiation was recorded. Communications later appeared concerning a lowering of the reactivity of the organism in the presence of irradiation.
