A multiple-precision floating-point arithmetic program, MADCAP, for the PDP-1 Computer is described. The number of significant digits maintained during calculations can be varied easily to suit the user's requirements of speed vs. accuracy. Programming in MADCAP's own source language is extremely simple. (Author)
