Based on acceptance of certain criteria, the general plan of basin development as proposed in the report is properly formulated, and will provide for the best use of combination of uses of water and related land resources to meet all foreseeable short-and long-term needs in the basin. Meramec Park, Union, Pine Ford, Irondale, and I-38 Reservoirs, proposed for authorization and construction, are required to meet the immediate demands in the Meramec River Basin at this time.
