Some Climatic Features of the Northwestern Slope of the Greenland Ice Cap (East of Thule)

The climatic observations at three stations along the slope and at one station at the edge of the ice cap, east from Thule, were evaluated.nThe following elements were analyzed.nTemperature:Annual and diurnal course of temperature, extreme temperatures, a periodic fluctuation of temperature (also a case of strong warming along the slope was investigated), temperature lapse rates along the NW and SW slopes of the Greenland ice cap。
