DEVELOPMENT, DESIGN, ENGINEERING AND DETAILING WORK ON LAUNCHERS, MACHINES GUNS, FIXED WING ARMAMENTS AND HELICOPTER SYSTEMS

The work prepared for the XM 9 Subsystem involved designing a head which would hold the XM 75 Launcher on a redesigned M6 pylon. The load will hold a redesigned cradle previously utilized in the XM 13 pod. Due to the positioning of the weapon it became necessary to design feeding and ejection chutes for the weapon. All the aforementioned designs were depicted in individual component form. Several layout studies were pre pared to determine the projectile path relative to the air craft.
