An Approximate Distribution for Resistance-Capacitance Integrated Chi-square Noise

A generalization of the Satterthwaite approximation is used to approximate the probability distribution of the output of a resistance-capacitance integrator with Chi-square noise input. General relations are also derived which may be applied to other filter characteristics. (Author)
