Implementation Studies for a Reliability-Based Static Strength Criteria System. Volume I. Evaluation

The proposed reliability-based static strength criteria system described in AFFDL-TR-67-107, Volumes I-III, was reviewed to determine the data requirements and availability, the implications of such an approach on the structural design process, methods by which implementation can be achieved without discontinuity, and necessary changes to specification and handbooks. Volume I describes the studies made using data for the C-141 cargo transport. (Author)
