Simulation of a Radar Image for Garden City Test Site.

This report documents and demonstrates in detail the procedure to be followed in digitally simulating a radar image for Garden City test site. The type of information needed for simulation and the method of actual construction of the image are presented. Simulated images both with and without fading are included. These images are produced for system parameters corresponding to Westinghouse AN/APQ-97 radar system. The simulated image is compared with the actual radar image of the area. The simulation of images for Garden City represents a first simulation effort for comparatively simple scene using relatively few system parameters.
