Genetic Requirements for Mixed Lymphocyte Culture Response of Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes of Mice Depleted of Alloantigen-Reactive Lymphoid Cells.

Recently a technique has been described by which intravenous injection of allogeneic lymphoid cells induces alloantigen selective in vivo recruitment of recirculating lymphocytes which are then trapped in host splenic tissue. This permits selective depletion of alloantigen reactive cells in the pool of recirculating lymphocytes. This precedure was studied for determining the mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) surface reactive antigens and the genetic requirement for the proliferative response of lymphoid cells from various strains of inbred and congenic mice.
