Simulation Specification for Modeling the Logistics Data Communications Network.

A simulation strategy that can be used to model the Logistics Data Communications Network (LDCN) is described in detail. The various components of LDCN and their interconnections are set forth. The modeling strategy is reported with particulars including the inputs and outputs of each model in the system. Also presented is a scenario life-cycle for a transaction from the origination at the terminal through the network and back to the terminal. (Author)
