Software for Three Dimensional Topographic Scenes

摘要

The paper discusses the current capability for portraying three dimensional topographic scenes at the Defense Mapping Agency, Hydrographic/Topographic Center and a background of its current usage and potential applications. A number of illustrations of scenes produced using Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) and overlayed Digital Feature Analysis Data (DFAD) will be presented. Planned enhancements will be discussed with illustrations of type of results to be produced. (Author)
