摘要

Amine terminated polysulfone oligomers were successfully synthesized and characterized, and used to modify highly crosslinked epoxy networks. The amine terminated polysulfones allowed a one step modification which is advantageous over our previous systems. These modified networks showed an improvement in fracture toughness while retaining the high modulus, Tg and chemical resistance. The morphology and toughening mechanisms of these modified networks are also assessed.
