With (X sub 1, X sub 2) in a stable domain of attraction and (Y sub 1, Y sub 2) independent of (X sub 1, X sub 2), conditions are given for which (X sub1 Y sub1, X sub 2 Y sub2) is in the same domain and for which the constants are applicable. For the case with no normal component, an alternative criterion for stable attraction facilities the proof.
