Engineering Test of 105mm PA117 Ammunition Can on the Standard Metal Pallet with Pallet Adapter

The U.S. Army Defense Ammunition Center and School (USADACS) has been tasked by Project Manager, Ammunition Logistics to design a palleting system for PA117 Containers. These containers are palletized on a Standard Metal Pallet with adapters for a secure unitization. This configuration was tested in accordance with MIL-STD-1660, Section 5, and passed the prescribed engineering test. Keywords: 105-mm ammunition.
