Environmental Overview of Common Industrial Chemicals with Potential Application in the Binary Munitions Program

The Department of the Army proposes to construct and operate facilities to manufacture chemicals that can be used in binary munitions. The precursors to these chemicals are commonly available industrial chemicals. This report provides relevant background information for the environmental risks and legal requirements that govern the handling and release of 15 industrial chemicals.
