We have previously reported that basal plasma growth hormone (GH) and prolactinlevels were markedly decreased in rats two weeks following a single dose (100 ug/kg,sc) of soman. In the present study, 2 week survivors of soman were challenged pharmacologically and physiologically and endocrine responses were determined. In addition some aspects of immune function were assessed. In the present study, basal prolactin levels were not affected by soman exposure and growth hormone levels were decreased in only 1 of 3 experiments.
