摘要

In this paper, we show that fluid limits can be used to study the asymptoticthroughput of a stochastic closed reentrant line in the infinite population limit. As applications of this technique, the Last Buffer First Serve (LBPS) scheduling policy and the Harrison-Wein Balanced policy for two station networks are shown to be efficient, i.e., that they attain bottleneck throughput in the infinite population limit.
