摘要

Lacking a simple detection method for metabolites of DQHS, several differentdetection methods were investigated. 1-ACID AND BASE DECOMPOSITION: These methods attempt to convert qinghaosu and its derivatives to ultra-violet absorbing species through acidic or basic decomposition. The basic decomposition gives better results in our hands. Level of detection achieved in the present system was 50 ng for DQHS and 10 ng for QHS which is better than the previously reported methods. 2-ACETYLATION OF 'OH' GROUP ON DQHS WITH ACETIC ANHYDRIDE: A sample of DQHS-1 4C was acetylated. The thought is that any hydroxyl analog or 'OH' containing metabolite of DQHS may be acetylated using high specific activity
