Study:FDA needs more resources to safely regulate nanotechnology

In advance of an Oct.10 FDA public meeting on nanotechnology,a new study compiled by a former FDA official argues that the agency needs significant new resources to handle potential hazards posed by the new science.The study,"Regulating the Products of Nanotechnology:Does FDA Have the Tools It Needs?" was compiled by former FDA deputy commissioner for policy Michael Taylor and released by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
