Performance of Different Fungicides on the Management of Sheath Blight of Rice

Bioefficacy of pencycuron 250 SC against sheath blight disease of rice caused by Rhizoctonia solani was evaluated for two years under field conditions with some other fungicides using a most susceptible rice cultiver, MTU 7029. Out of four fungicides tested, pencycuron (Monceren 250 SC) was found most effective to control the sheath blight disease.
