Fair fuel stabiliser introduced in the UK

In his latest Budget, the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne announced no changes to fuel duty plans already set out in his autumn statement. The 3.02 p/l fuel duty increase that was due to take effect on 1 January 2012 is to take effect on 1 August 2012. The increase that was planned for 1 August 2012, expected to be 1.92 p/l, will be cancelled.
