Yemen foils export terminal attacks

Yemen says its security forces on 4 August halted an al-Qaida plot to attack oil and gas installations in the country. The attacks were aimed at two targets — a small products export ter-minal of al-Dabbah in the southern coastal town of Mukulla and the port of Balhaf, where Yemen LNG exports from its 6.7mn t/yr liquefaction facility.
