New Savory Flavors Facility in Hungary Marks Strategic Growth for Givaudan Through 2020

In order to keep up with a changing global flavors market, Givaudan recently announced an investment in facilities in Mako, Hungary. "In Europe, we have some quite old plants, and you can only get so much out of those," explains John Pares, Givaudan s managing director in Hungary. "We also saw we needed a manufacturing strategy that focused on savory flavors in this region, as we anticipate this facility will serve most of Eastern and Central Europe, as well as possibly growing to support some of our Western European business."
