Histopathologic examination revealed an unremarkable epidermis and dermis. Within the superficial subcutaneous fat are two markedly dilated cystic structures lined by a single outer layer of myoepitheli-urn and an inner layer of cuboidal cells with eosino-philic cytoplasm and focal decapitation secretion (Figs. 2 and 3). Hidrocystoma was diagnosed; the decapitation secretion allowed for more specific identification as apocrine hidrocystoma.
