COLLABORATIVE DECISION-MAKING HAS INCREASED MUNICH AIRPORT'S OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY - AND NOW OTHERS CAN BENEFIT. Easing congestion through increased efficiency is essential at today's airports. Munich Airport (Flughafen Munchen) and the German air navigation service provider DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung launched a joint project to achieve this in 2004 - Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM). Both parties have seen a steady improvement in operational efficiency since A-CDM's implementation. Now Munich Airport and DFS are providing their business experience to other airports, navigation service providers and airlines seeking to gain operational benefits.
