UAA: completing the silver milestone in the service of ICT

UAA strikes silver and surging ahead for gold. Prof M.M. Sharma seeded the concept of UDCT Alumni Association and Mr. K.V. Mariwala, Chairman of Silver Jubilee Celebration committee of UAA was the first President. The Grand Finale of the celebrations was held at ICT campus on 11th May 2014 and the function began with lighting of the traditional lamp and Saraswati Vandana. People gathered for the function were among those who had immensely created a difference to the institution's past and also contributed to building the association. Padma Vibhushan Prof M.M.Sharma graced the momentous occasion besides past presidents, alumni, faculty, support staff, students and invitees. The event saw participation of 700+ people making it the highest such participation in an alumni event. The main feature of the event was the presentation of the Distinguished Alumnus Awards in the Entrepreneur category and also included a photo booth where special framed photo was given to the alumni as a memorabilia of the event.
